Fatal Chilliwack shooting not related to Lower Mainland gang conflict: IHIT

CHILLIWACK (NEWS 1130) — Homicide detectives say a shooting in Chilliwack earlier this week is not believed to be linked to the Lower Mainland gang conflict.
Adam Gerald Bell, 37, was dropped off at the Chilliwack hospital with gunshot wounds early Tuesday morning. He died from his injuries.

Detectives are working to find a motive but say they do not believe the shooting is linked to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict.
Chilliwack RCMP and B.C. Coroners Service are assisting with the investigation.
