MARION, N.Y. (AP) _ Seneca Foods Corp. (SENEA) on Friday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $14.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the Marion, New York-based company said it had net income of $1.62. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs and restructuring costs, were $2.68 per share.
The fruit and vegetable company posted revenue of $304.8 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $126.1 million, or $13.72 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.47 billion.
Seneca Foods shares have increased 21% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $48.33, an increase of 52% in the last 12 months.
