Burnaby RCMP investigating shots fired near Armstrong Elementary

BURNABY (NEWS 1130) — A heavy police presence in Burnaby Friday night is the result of reports that shots were fired, but the RCMP say they have not located any victims.
Officers were called to the area of Armstrong Avenue near Cariboo Drive around 9 p.m., near Armstrong Elementary. In an update posted to social media around 10:30 p.m. they say the investigation is ongoing but no victims have been located, and no suspects found or arrested.

There was also another large presence near 14th Avenue and Kingsway.
