Abbotsford vaccine clinic temporarily cancel appointments due to heat wave

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — If you have an appointment to get your COVID-19 vaccine at the Abbotsford Ag-Rec Centre after 1 p.m. Saturday, you will need to reschedule.

Fraser Health says due to extreme heat, the clinic will be closing in the afternoon.

“The heat wave is causing elevated internal temperatures in the clinic and, as a result, Fraser Health made the decision to rebook these appointments to protect the health and safety of our staff and clients,” a statement reads.

If you had an appointment, you are asked to rebook by calling 1-833-838-2323, or go to a different walk-in location.
