BURNABY (NEWS 1130) — This heat is forcing Fraser Health to make adjustments to their vaccination clinics.

For appointments and drop-ins after noon on Sunday and Monday, people will be redirected to facilities where there is air conditioning.

COVID-19 testing and immunization will continue at affected clinics until 12 p.m. while temperatures remain cooler.

Fraser Health says the measure is being taken in order to protect staff and clients.

The Health authority adds it expects the measures to be in place at least until the end of the day Monday.
