Woman assaulted in Yaletown, VPD looking for suspect

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Vancouver police are looking for a man after an early morning attack in Yaletown Monday.
VPD was notified after a woman was approached when she was walking in the area of Davie and Mainland streets around 1 a.m.
The victim, a 29-year-old, told investigators she was asked if she wanted a ride by a man in a white SUV.
We are investigating an incident in Yaletown last night. It was reported a woman was approached by a male in a white SUV & asked if she wanted a ride. An altercation ensued & the woman was pushed to the ground & injured her leg. If you have info/see anything suspicious call 911.

When she declined, she was pushed to the ground where she suffered an injury to her leg.
Police say no suspects have been identified at this time.
VPD is asking for anyone with information to call 9-1-1.
