LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is still looking for answers after a man’s body was found in a burning truck in Langley last week.
Last Tuesday, police were called to the area of 200 Street and 82 Avenue and found a red Ford F150 up in flames, with the man’s body inside.
They can only say the victim is a white man, but he hasn’t been identified yet.

IHIT says this appears to be a targeted incident, but it’s not clear if it’s related to the ongoing gang conflict.
“The location of the burned vehicle and victim are not connected to the area they were found in. Investigators are continuing to analyze evidence and are determining if this is related to any of the ongoing conflicts in the lower mainland,” a statement reads.
IHIT is working with ICBC, the Langley RCMP, the BC Coroners Service, and the Integrated Forensic Identification Section.
