Fire in Abbotsford park shuts down boardwalk bridge

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — A fire that burned through a boardwalk early Saturday morning at a popular Abbotsford park has been deemed suspicious.
Abbotsford police say they were called to Mill lake Park just around 4 a.m. due to a fully engulfed fire on a section of the bridge.
The fire burned through the boardwalk which is now closed.

Police are calling this fire suspicious and are reminding the public we are experiencing extremely dry conditions, so be responsible and abide by all fire bans.
