VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Track issues along the Canada Line in Vancouver are to blame for an hours-long delay Thursday morning.
TransLink confirms the problem has been resolved. However, delays remain for people heading south between King Edward and Yaletown stations.
People are being asked to give themselves extra time getting around, with TransLink warning people to “expect longer than normal wait times between trains as service returns to normal and crowds disperse.”

A bus bridge had been set up to Waterfront as the transit authority worked to fix the issue. The track problems were first reported around 6 a.m.
There’s still no word on what exactly caused the problem.
