Fatal collision on Sea to Sky Highway near Squamish

SQUAMISH (NEWS 1130) — At least one person has died after a crash on Highway 99 near Shannon Falls Provincial Park, just south of Squamish Thursday evening.
Few details have been released, but Squamish RCMP are saying investigators are on scene after a “fatal collision.”

The highway northbound was closed around 7:30 p.m, and drivers reported heavy delays for hours.
Early Friday morning the Sea to Sky highway reopened to traffic.
