Transit police ask for help identifying alleged SkyTrain sexual offender

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Transit police are asking for help identifying a man who allegedly exposed his genitals to a woman and then masturbated on the SkyTrain.

On Aug. 3, the man got onto the Millenium Line at Coquitlam Central Station around 8:50 p.m., according to Metro Vancouver Transit Police.

“Before and after the alleged incident, he rode trains for an extensive period of time along the Millennium Line and the Expo Line west of Commercial-Broadway, getting on and off trains and approaching multiple women, revealing a predatory nature to his actions,” a statement says.

The incident police are referring to happened around 10:30 p.m.

” A woman sitting onboard the SkyTrain noticed a man sitting directly across from her, despite a nearly empty train. When she looked toward the man, he was allegedly staring back at her with his genitals exposed while masturbating. The victim quickly moved to another part of the train,” the statement continues.

The man is described as white, in his twenties, with dark blonde/light brown hair, and a slender build. He was wearing a light brown t-shirt, shorts, and carrying a blue backpack and a skateboard.
