As a teenager in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Ryan did his high school co-op at CBC Radio and was hooked. His passion for radio took him to many different markets in Canada, but he now calls Metro Vancouver home. He's been a jack of all trades in his career covering junior hockey, news, working as sales rep, and traffic reporting from a helicopter above the 2010 Olympics. Ryan joined CityNews Vancouver in 2019.
