Pride Sports Day and Pride Run
Vancouver Frontrunners are hosting their annual Pride Run and Walk. The Run and Walk is a 5 to 10 km walk in the beautiful Stanley Park. Money raised from the Run and Walk goes to Vancouver Frontrunner’s community beneficiaries, Out in Schools and the LOUD Foundation Scholarships.
After the Pride Run and Walk, Pride Sports Day will be in full swing! Sports Day will bring together members of the LGBTQ2+ community and their allies together for a fun, active, and inclusive day of celebration at Second Beach.
This event is free to the public, and includes family-friendly activities. Pride Sports Day will include live music, a variety of sports and recreational activities, a 19+ beer garden, a sober picnic space hosted by Last Door Recovery Society, vendors, food trucks and community groups. For further fun, Pride Sports Day will be partnering with all three local, professional sports teams for this year’s event: the Vancouver Canucks, BC Lions, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
ASL Interpretation is booked for the day. We ask that all attendees help make Pride Sports Day a scent-reduced space. Please refrain from using perfumes, colognes, and strongly scented products.
