25th Annual Dining Out For Life Event @ Various Locations

EAT. DRINK. GIVE.

Celebrating 25 years in 2019, Dining Out For Life (DOFL) is BC’s largest restaurant fundraiser.   Each year, an impressive amount of restaurants from Whistler to the Fraser Valley come together to raise important funds in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.   Over the last 24 years, DOFL has raised more than $3 Million to support the important work of A Loving Spoonful.   Dining Out For Life is presented by NEWS 1130.

Participating restaurants donate 25% of their food sales to support the important work of A Loving Spoonful.   A Loving Spoonful only receives 20% government funding; so they need your help to raise additional funds for those in need.

We ask diners to go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner at any of the 100+ participating restaurants from Whistler to White Rock and across the Fraser Valley.

A couple spending $100 at a Dining Out For Life restaurant will provide 28 meals for vulnerable people in need.   Bon Appétit!

The world’s most successful and best selling soprano SARAH BRIGHTMAN will bring her HYMN: Sarah Brightman In Concert Tour to Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver on March 18, 2019.

Brightman will also unveil her much anticipated fifteenth full-length album, Hymn, on November 9, 2018 (Decca Gold/ Universal). This marks the multiplatinum GRAMMY® award-nominated classical crossover pioneer’s first new studio recording since she released the international chart-topper Dreamchaser in 2013. Brightman returned to the recording studio in 2016, to begin working on Hymn with long time producer and collaborator Frank Peterson.

The result is the spiritually themed Hymn — an inspirational collection of orchestrated, choir-based songs that Brightman says felt soothing to record. Hymn, was recorded over the past two years in Hamburg, Miami, London, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, and Budapest.

Brightman says fans should “expect the unexpected!”
