On Monday, May 11 Aritzia launched the Aritzia Community Care Program, a $20 million initiative to donate custom clothing packages to frontline healthcare workers. Aritzia created the Community Care Program in order to demonstrate our gratitude to frontline healthcare workers – we learned that there is a genuine need for clothing due to the sanitation standards pre- and post- shift. Healthcare workers have to remove and wash their clothing (or destroy it) each time they return home in order to keep the virus from spreading and to keep their families safe.
A lead donation of $10 million worth of packages has been made which frontline healthcare workers can order for free on Aritzia.com each week. Aritzia customers are also able to purchase their own packages which will allow us to donate 2 additional bundles to healthcare workers in Canada. 50,100+ Healthcare heroes have claimed a gift so far.
