The lane closures had been lifted to accommodate long weekend travellers, but the wildfire in the area is not yet fully contained.
The stubborn wildfire has been burning since June 23rd. The BC Wildfire Service says it may have been caused by a power line.
The fire is about 4.5 hectares in size, and is now listed as “under control.”
The Sea to Sky closure on northbound lanes will be in place between Ansell Place and Ocean Point Drive.
