One person in hospital after Langley shooting

LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) – One person has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after reports of shots fired in Langley early Thursday morning.

RCMP officers are on scene investigating at 272nd St. and 48th Ave., and say the shooting happened just before 6 a.m.

The 47-year-old man was taken to hospital, and police say the shooting is believed to have been targeted.

Langley RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has taken over the investigation, and are canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses and video footage.
